What is UV LED Lashing? Is it safe?
UV LED Lashing is an innovative technique for applying eyelash extension products, utilizing light-curable adhesive. The LED light devices emit a specific wavelength that ensures the adhesive cures properly, thanks to a photo-initiator ingredient in its formulation.
In the past, lash retention could be challenging due to varying seasonal temperatures and humidity levels. NOW, with UV LED Lashing, you only need 1-3 seconds of 405nm blue-violet light to securely lock your lashes in place!
This is the primary advantage of using UV LED Lashing: you no longer have to adjust your adhesive application based on inconsistent humidity and temperatures. The instant and effective cure allows for cleaner lashing without any “stickies” that could compromise your client’s comfort.
Indeed, with a bit of practice to master the nuances of this new system, you will lash more efficiently, creating stronger, longer-lasting bonds without the annoyance of stickies. Your clients will also appreciate the enhanced comfort, as they won't have to endure the stinging from cyanoacrylate vapors or the potential irritation from aftereffects!
